McLain Named Permanent President of LSSU

The LSSU Board of Trustees approved Dr. Tony McLain as the university's seventh president at a special meeting on Friday, April 2. He was named interim in June 2009 and given the full title of president in July 2009 with the understanding a nationwide search for a permanent fixture in the administration building. "I am honored by the appointment," McLain said. "Very honored."
