The 4th annual Michigan Distinguished Professor of the Year Award recipients have been selected (PDF) - three professors from Michigan’s 15 public universities have earned this honor. They are: Dr. Karen Libman--GVSU, Dr. Marcia Aldrich--MSU, and Dr. Perry J. Samson--UMAA.

CMU Names Interim President (PDF), The Central Michigan University Board of Trustees has selected Vice President Kathy Wilbur to serve as interim president of the university. Wilbur has led CMU’s government relations and public affairs division for nearly seven years.

Eastern Michigan University (PDF), Eastern Michigan University and Washtenaw Community College (WCC) have signed an articulation agreement that will provide transfer students the opportunity to complete a nursing degree at EMU.
